Description
Divenire, meaning ‘to become’, includes instrumentation beyond solo piano, and the recording features cello, electronics and members of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra on a selection of the pieces. Einaudi himself describes the album concept as being tied to nature, movement and transformation, and his inspiration developed from his experiences performing his compositions in the Dolomites at a festival in 2002.
