Description
The project emerged from a collaboration with an 12th-generation kimono textile manufacturer in Kyoto, Japan. At its core, the work explores the translation of sound into textile form: sonograms of musical compositions serve as the basis for woven structures, connecting acoustic frequency patterns with traditional weaving techniques.
