Six years after the live sets that became Sunday At The Village Vanguard and Waltz for Debby, Bill Evans returned to the Village Vanguard in 1967 for two nights with Eddie Gómez on bass and Philly Joe Jones on drums. Those recordings became the double album California Here I Come in 1982.
