Since 2012, MACAO has been an open community, a project in constant evolution. From the formation of Lavoratori dell’Arte and the occupation of Torre Galfa to the years at the former slaughterhouse at Viale Molise 68, the history of MACAO spans more than a decade of struggles for the commons and the right to the city, bringing together activism and artistic practice.
