    Afrobeat, Experimental … Supporting Oxfam’s On The Line project, Blur’s Damon Albarn travelled to Mali in July 2000 where he had the chance to meet and play with a variety of Malian musicians. The 40 hours of raw material were then worked on in Albarn’s studio back home, and sent back to Mali for final additions.
