New Wave, Post Punk … Formed in Hakata, before moving to Tokyo in 1984 Akebonojirushi were a six piece band who played a wild mix of New-Wave and Funk-Jazz elements condensed into unconventional Pop songs. Originally released on DIW in 1987 “Paradise Mambo” stands as a great example of pure 80’s Japanese post-modern sound!
