Richard Rogers’ Black Booby project returns to its re-edit roots after taking a brief Chi-town house diversion with Gene Hunt & co on BB07. This time around Rogers takes the reins himself for four lush re-works of classic, though obscure, tracks. First up on the A-side there’s ‘Sunlab Export’, an edit of the super-unknown ‘Laxton Superb’ by Dutch 80s electronic outfit Spectral Display.
