EBM, New Beat, Techno … Art Academy was a short-lived but impactful project masterminded by Stephan Kessler (of Aircrash Bureau), releasing just one single in 1990 on the iconic Suck Me Plasma imprint, a sub-label of Music Research. “The Banker”, co-produced by Holger Wick (Konzept), delivers a sharp fusion of techno and EBM.
