“Astral Disaster” subcription-only vinyl release was somewhat of an Unholy Grail for Coil collectors! Like „Musick“ it is an essentially tidal/lunar record with literal washes of sound enveloping the listener. Intensely engaging tracks like „The Avatars“ and the later concert tour-de-force „I don’t want to be the one“ owe equal amounts to drone and kraut, but are quintessentially Coil.
